Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end L2 network operations, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Act as the escalation point for major incidents and critical outages.
• Support and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewall, routing, and switching environments (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
• Coordinate with L1, L3, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure service delivery.
• Monitor network performance, optimize configurations, and support capacity planning.
• Drive automation, documentation, knowledge management, and process improvements.
• Ensure SLA/KPI compliance and provide regular operational reporting.
• Mentor L1 teams and support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in Network Operations, including L2 support and leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs), LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and Firewalls.
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
• Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Exposure to automation initiatives and network optimization projects.
• Willing to support on-call duties and critical outage management
