Role Overview
We are seeking a Capital Market Operations Analyst to support Prime OTC Clearing activities across margin and collateral management, trade settlement, reconciliation, and operational controls. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate processing of financial market transactions while maintaining strong risk and control standards. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office, Technology, and external counterparties to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform collateral and margin management activities, including margin call processing, dispute investigation, and client servicing.
2. Manage trade, cash, position, and Nostro reconciliations, ensuring timely investigation and resolution of exceptions and breaks.
3. Execute settlement, payment processing, and cash management activities.
4. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Identify, investigate, and escalate operational issues, exceptions, and control breaches in a timely manner.
6. Perform end-of-day controls to ensure all operational activities are completed accurately.
7. Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Client Solutions, Technology teams, and external counterparties.
8. Participate in UAT, UVT, and change implementation initiatives.
9. Review and maintain operating procedures, controls, and process documentation.
10. Ensure compliance with operational risk, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business, or a related field.
2. Experience in Capital Market Operations, Financial Market Operations, Treasury
3. Operations, Clearing, Settlement, Trade Support, or Reconciliation functions.
4. Knowledge of OTC products, Prime Brokerage Operations, Margin & Collateral
5. Management, or Derivatives Operations is preferred.
6. Experience handling trade, cash, position, or Nostro reconciliations.
7. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
8. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; VBA Macro skills are an added advantage.
10. Experience in process improvement, system migration, UAT, or transformation projects is a plus.
11. Willing to work shifts and public holidays when required.
