1.⁠ ⁠Assist the Head of Production in managing daily operations and overseeing the production team to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.

2.⁠ ⁠Coordinate production schedules and workflows to meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.

3.⁠ ⁠Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

4.⁠ ⁠Support the development and execution of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.

5.⁠ ⁠Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the production environment.

6.⁠ ⁠Identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing corrective actions promptly.

7.⁠ ⁠Assist in training and development of production staff, fostering a high-performance culture.

8.⁠ ⁠Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations.

9.⁠ ⁠Generate regular reports on production performance and present findings to the Head of Production.

10.⁠ ⁠Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of Lean Sigma initiatives with overall production goals.

Education Level

• Bachelor’s/ Master degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemical, Mechanical or a related field. A Lean Six Sigma certification is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in production management or manufacturing operations, with a preference for experience in the chemical or gas industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Extensive knowledge of production processes, quality management, and safety regulations.
• Proven experience in implementing process improvements and achieving operational efficiencies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
