Job Description
- Liaise with owners/charterers on payments and invoices, monitor and track outstanding payments to ensure timely collection
- Reconcile customer accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies or disputes
- Allocate cash/credits to invoices and debtors and prepare interoffice collection reports
- Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders related to credit control
- Generate and issue invoices to customers promptly.
- Enter fixture slips into the invoicing system
- Support the Credit Controller or Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements
- Qualification : Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Patient, Tactful and Meticulous
- No prior experience required
