Benefits & CompensationSalary from RM4500 - RM5500Transport (Car + Toll): RM1,180Phone: RM200Commission 1-2% every each billing1.5 months contractual bonusSales and Marketing:Managing existing accounts and consistently updating sales pipelinesQualifying database and updating CRMEstablishing new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedulesIdentifying current and potential customer requirements by establishing personal rapport and understanding key requirementsSupport Business Area Manager in execution of marketing campaigns, leads generation and management.Provide and present product & technical information to potential and existing customers.Technical Advisory and Product Advocate:Responsible for actively driving and managing project pipelines.Provide technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the technical support team.Becoming a competent key technical advisor and product advocate for company productsCommunicate regulatory compliance requirement and applications effectively, demonstrating client’s market leadership and expertise in the relevant fields.Interact with customers’ engineering teams to illustrate client valued propositions.Responsible for representing the products to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.Develop customer's staff by providing technical information and training.Conduct Negotiation to secure a win-win agreement with customers.Service Standards and Customer Relationship Management:Determine improvements by analysing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment; engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of equipment or services.Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents.Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operational improvement.Maintaining records of customer communication and sales activity in our CRM system.ResponsibilitiesClearly articulate technical capabilities and give technical demonstrationsPartner with the sales team to generate leadsFind and maintain prospective clientsProvide general technical support to clientsQualificationsDegree/Diploma in any engineering discipline preferably in Electrical/ Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering or related fieldBasic knowledge in Instrumentation (sensors, transmitters, etc)Minimum 3 years working experience in technical sales or in similar capacity.Self-starter with a proactive approachUnderstanding of sales & distribution with intermediate project management skillsWilling to travel.Strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability.Valid driving license

This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality data management within Financial Markets Operations by maintaining timely and accurate updates of Static & Market data in respective processing systems . Business Reference Data is a critical component of Financial Market Operations, supporting Static and Market data processing across regions and various processing systems .

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Data Quality

– Ensure timely, accurate, and error-free processing of Static and Market data.

– Adhere to processes and controls as detailed in the Department Operating Instructions (DOI) .

– Provide high-quality Data Management by ensuring timely updates of Static & Market data in the respective processing systems.

2. Business Reference Data Operations

– Support Market Data Team in performing all Market Data activities.

– Support Static Data Team for Static updates .

– Understand Business Reference Data as an integral part of Financial Market Operations, covering Static and Market data processing across regions and various processing systems.

3. Process & Daily Operations

– Set up and validate rates captured across each time zone to ensure EOD (End of Day) timelines are met .

– Generate and circulate Control reports, track signoffs, and escalate to Manco members if signoffs are not received as per agreed timelines .

– Develop familiarity with key systems and platforms including Asset Control, Murex, Reuters, Bloomberg, and Markit .

– Review and update all Department Operating Instructions (DOIs) on time.

– Provide training and knowledge transfer to new joiners in the team.

4. Risk & Compliance

– Process and make decisions as per the Department Operating Instructions within specified timeliness and accuracy standards.

– Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and Group Policies.

– Uphold Group KYC, AML, and Sanctions Policy / Procedures to the extent applicable and report all suspicious transactions to the Line Manager .

– Contribute to the development of a control framework to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

5. Projects & Stakeholder Management

– Assist the team by participating in various projects.

– Represent Market Data Team in Project Calls and Book of Work Calls.

– Maintain a close working relationship with stakeholders to ensure service issues are promptly escalated and acted upon.

Key Requirements

Education

– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience

– 3-7 years of relevant experience in banking operations, particularly in Financial Markets or Reference Data operations.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

– Bloomberg and Refinitiv – proficiency required .

– Asset Control, Murex, Reuters, Markit – familiarity with these systems is highly preferred .

– Financial Products Knowledge – understanding of Financial Markets products including FX, OTC derivatives, equities, fixed income, etc.

– Systems: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel pivots, lookups).

Soft Skills

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Good communication skills (verbal and written).

– Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.

– Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.

– Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
