Responsibility

• Assist Engineering Manager in planning and executing programming for the manufacturing and / or assembly processes and make improvement plans to meet agreed customer’s requirements, product’s technical and quality specifications

• Initiate development of new product introduction as per customers’ requirements

• Work as a team cross functionally towards achieving FA buy off, FA validation during trial runs, tool buy off during customer audit and kick off the mass production of new product introduction

• Collaborate with NPI engineer to create programs for mass production and for every products after project kicked off

• Work with NPI Engineer and sales teams on delivering new product introduction on programming issues and engineering related improvement action plans

• Review customer requirements and drawings in accordance with Engineering Change Notification issued from NPI Engineer and sales teams

• Prepare internal technical drawing, develop parts process and / or assembly process in production, support NPI engineer in improving tool fabrication, Jigs and fixture improvement process / or assembly of component parts process

• Ensure proper document control and retrieval on programming, parts process and drawings for Engineering department in accordance with ISO standards

• Assist Engineering Manager to coach, train and motivate the Engineering teams towards achieving Company objectives and customers’ requirements. Assist to ensure Engineering team’s discipline and work performance

• Support production and quality related problem solving and solutions

• Ensure to conduct training to production cell leaders machinists before mass production kick off

• Attend to customer’s feedback and complaints for improvements. Ensure smooth First Article handover activities

• Ensure production shipment delivery on time meet shipment quantity with good quality

• Practice good housekeeping and ‘5S’ program at workplace.

• Execute other tasks assigned by the superior

• Authorise to initiate the development of New Product Introduction as per agreed customer’s requirements, product’s technical and quality specifications

• Authorise to assist Engineering Manager in planning and executing programming for the manufacturing and / or assembly processes and make continual improvement plans

Education Level

• Minimum diploma in CNC Precision Engineering or related professional certificate

Special Skill

• Proficient in CNC programming, Master-cam, Solid-works, Fusion and / or Edge-cam
• Communication skill in achieving timely delivery and best quality of the assigned tasks

Special Knowledge

• Knowledge in CNC process control, ISO quality control & assurance technical knowledge
• ISO-9001 Knowledge, GD&T, jigs and fixtures fabrication and surface treatment methods.
