Education Level

• Bachelor degree in relevant field such as Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Requirements

• 5 years or more of experience in instrumentation.
• In-depth understanding of various types of instruments, such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, temperature sensors, level sensors, and control valves.
• Able to design complex instrumentation systems, including selecting appropriate instruments, control strategies, and system configurations. Familiar with design standards and codes (e.g. ISA, IEC, ANSI, API). Ability to write detailed equipment specifications and datasheets.
• Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), including configuration, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Understand process dynamics and how instrumentation fits into the control and monitoring of processes. Expertise in control strategies and algorithms, including PID control, advanced process control (APC), and control loop tuning.
• Advanced problem-solving skills for diagnosing and addressing instrumentation and control issues. Ability to analyze data from instruments and control systems to improve process performance and reliability.
